“ The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon but we got a table right away. The attendants were attentive, kind and efficient towards us even though we were probably the only non-Spanish speakers there. The buffet was very thorough and I knew I was in the right place because there was not a tacky taco or jive burrito in sight. Instead, my daughter and I were greeted with a buffet filled with homemade and delicious entrees, desserts and salad. The favorite dish was the whole Maccarro fish. They were taken as soon as they were placed on the buffet. They also had other fish dishes which were tasty as well. The soups were delicious. There was a giant seafood soup with giant, and I do mean giant prawns. I had the soup with vegetables and meatballs with rice. It warmed my insides to the core and the broth was great. We were given the choice of flour or corn tortillas. There were the traditional Spanish rice and refried beans. There were numerous meat selections and the sweet potatoes were flavorful without being too sweet. All this and the price for two was less than $40. The meal was comfort Mexican food made and served with love. Its satisfying effects lasted hours after the meal. Muchas Gracias to Pardos's Grand Buffet. ”
“ This was a shock to me when I found out that there is a Mexican buffet! I went to try it and it was not disappointing! Everything was yummy and fresh. The service was fast and people were super nice! Price was also fair! ”
“ The buffet is fantastic! Great way to try many authentic Mexican dishes in one go. The mole chicken was fantastic! Rich mildly sweet sauce and super juicy tender chicken throughout. ”
“ Wow! Every time we go, we leave so pleased and full! Their buffet has authentic and flavorful Mexican dishes-- menudo, chiles rellenos, barbacoa, pescado frito, picadillo, chicharrón en salsa verde... the menu options change so what you like one day... might change the next! Aside from these delicious options, a small salad bar and sweet desserts are also available-- usually arroz con leche and sweet potato. Service is always welcoming and attentive. We love their coffee and hearing other people enjoy their food experience. The owners are a delight! ”
“ Loved loved loved Pardo's. I've never been to a Mexican Buffet before, just restaurant and I'm telling you idk if it's healthy for me to return! All your favorites are right on the buffet line! Mole, caldo, tilapia, rice, shrimp cocktail (that's is like $13 by its self at a restaurant!) everything! So good. Now if you are picky and use to authentic like home cooked meals, you're going to be a huge critic. But it's good! Especially if you don't want to cook! The buffet is about $14 a person. ”
“ Recent dah trip to KC and we consulted the Yelp app for nearby options. We selected Pardo's and it did not disappoint. My Latino friend was with me for lunch. She was able to explain some of the many options that they had. My personal favorite were the Chile Relenos. Followed by the shrimp cocktail and barbacoa. My friend opted for the Menudo and Psole soups. We did try a sampling of the other choices. And all were quite good Just a note about the hot sauces. They are homemade and quite good. Just try a little bit as the amount of heat can vary from batch to batch. Prices were reasonable. The interior is a true meaning of retro as in it seems that the interior is the same since the 60's ”
